Salisbury Featured Artist - Scott Fricker
Statement from the Artist -
"Pathways of understanding are created through the experimental process of making art. There is no set subject and often times the meaning doesn't present itself till long after its creation. This said, awesomeness could not exist if it wasn't for all that surrounds it. Ispoired by the grotesque and beauty within life, new found connections with a high-power, cosmic conversations, the super triangle (mind, body, spirit), the evolving mind (as my own and as a society), the science of "God", the future past, finding truth and sharing in truth. Such awesomeness takes more than one lifetime to maybe understand, so, I ask of you in all love and righteous kind, to join me and our fellows on yet another incredible lifetime's journey."

The National Iron Bank and The GoodBrain Project have partnered for the coming year to share the work of local artists. This collaborations is a means of celebrating and elevating the diverse perspectives of painters whose work reflects the rich influence of geography and biology and examines the interplay between the perfection/imperfection of nature, the nature of currency and the current state of human impact and influence on shared and private resources. Our hope is to develop the curator, the collector, the artist, and the social impact entrepreneur alive within each of us.
If you would like to become an owner of any of the work you see over the next year, please contact Katie Osborn, the Assistant Regional Manager in the Salisbury branch of National Iron Bank, for details.
